As a seller on the Flip Laptops mobile app platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern your participation in and use of the platform. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and transparent marketplace for all users.
1. Account Creation and Maintenance
When creating a seller account on the Flip Laptops platform, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your business name, contact details, and any other required information. It is your responsibility to keep this information up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. Failure to provide accurate information or to maintain the confidentiality of your account may result in the suspension or termination of your seller privileges.
2. Product Listings and Descriptions
As a seller, you must provide accurate and truthful information about the laptops and related products you list on the platform. This includes detailed descriptions, specifications, and high-quality images that accurately represent the item for sale. You are required to use the built-in camera feature to take photos and upload them immediately, with the option to edit these photos to ensure they are clear and accurately depict the product. Misleading descriptions or images are strictly prohibited, and any attempt to deceive buyers may result in penalties or removal from the platform. Additionally, sellers are encouraged to utilize the scan photo feature to ensure their product descriptions and categorizations meet the platform’s standards.
3. Product Authenticity and Quality
You are required to ensure that all items listed on the platform are authentic and as described. This includes verifying that the products are genuine and, in the condition, stated in the listing. Any claims made about the product must be accurate and substantiated. Selling counterfeit or misleading products is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action, including possible legal consequences.
4. Pricing and Fees
The platform charges a dynamic transaction fee on each laptop sold, which will be deducted directly from the seller’s proceeds. As a seller, you are responsible for setting the prices of your products, including any taxes or additional charges. You may also offer discounts, hot deals, or coupons through the platform’s promotional features. If you choose to utilize these promotional features, additional fees may apply. All fees and pricing are subject to the platform’s policies and must be clearly communicated to buyers.
5. Order Fulfillment and Shipping
You are required to fulfill orders promptly and accurately. This includes ensuring that the product is shipped within the specified timeframe and that it matches the description provided in the listing. Sellers must provide clear guidelines for shipping, returns, cancellations, and refunds. Failure to deliver an item as promised will result in a penalty equal to 100% of the item’s value, which will be deducted from your account balance or charged through the payment method on file. Furthermore, you are responsible for communicating effectively with buyers throughout the transaction process, including providing updates on shipping status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
6. Payment and Payouts
Funds from successful transactions will be held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the item and expresses satisfaction. Once the transaction is completed, you may request a payout, subject to processing times and any applicable fees. Payouts are typically processed within 3-5 business days, depending on the payment method and any additional requirements. It is important to note that sellers are responsible for any local tax obligations related to the income generated on the platform.
7. Disputes and Resolutions
In the event of a dispute between you and a buyer, both parties are expected to cooperate in good faith to resolve the issue. The platform reserves the right to mediate disputes and make final decisions if an agreement cannot be reached. It is in your best interest to maintain clear and honest communication with buyers to avoid disputes. Sellers must also adhere to the platform’s guidelines for dispute resolution and comply with any decisions made by the platform.
8. Store Setup and Management
As a seller, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining your store information on the platform. This includes providing a clear and accurate store name, logo, and description. Your store should be regularly updated to reflect current inventory, pricing, and any promotional activities. The platform encourages sellers to categorize their products effectively and to utilize features such as the size chart and product variations to enhance the shopping experience for buyers.
9. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
You agree to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the sale of electronic goods, including laptops, on the platform. This includes adhering to local tax regulations, reporting income, and ensuring that all products meet legal and safety standards. Non-compliance may result in the suspension or termination of your account and legal action.
10. Liability and Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the platform, including its owners, directors, employees, partners, and affiliates, harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
